Our story
In 2023, our team was running Shopify stores in Pakistan — cash-on-delivery, high order volumes, constant customer questions about order status. Email confirmations were ignored. SMS costs were high. But WhatsApp? Every single customer was on it, every single day.
We built WaConnect to solve our own problem first — then made it available to every Shopify merchant. WaConnect automates the messages that matter most — order confirmations, shipping alerts, OTP verification, and abandoned checkout recovery — all from inside Shopify Admin, using your own WhatsApp Business number.
WaConnect is provided by DG ZONE LLC (USA), a verified Meta WhatsApp Business Platform Tech Provider. Operations and merchant support are handled in Pakistan by DG ZONE STORE SMC-PRIVATE LIMITED. We build software for merchants who run WhatsApp-first commerce on Shopify.
